Malaysia Food Blog, Malaysia Travel Blog

BM Kia says..
As I read through my blog posts for 2008, I found most of them are restaurant related reviews. I think this is deviating from my original purpose of food blogging, which is to discover and promote local foods, especially hawker fares. If not, it wouldn't be fit to be called "Malaysia Food Blog" So, my main aim of blogging for year 2009 would be to continue to do what I actually enjoyed the most - to travel, discover and promote cheap and tasty food.

Mei Siang Way is another dim sum restaurant in Bukit Mertajam 大山脚 which claims to serve authentic Hong Kong dim sum. We went there last weekend on a special ‘mission’ and it had nothing to do with tasting the dim sum :P

The dim sum sold here is pretty standard.. nothing special that’s worth mentioning. So.. that’s all about it, the end of this short post lol. These are some close up shots of the dim sum we had that day, enjoy!

Hi Jackson

Mei Siang Way is located in Taman Betek, BM (if not mistaken lar :P) It is a corner shop, on the other end from Wong Chow Dim Sum Restaurant. Hope this map helps, I think you should be able to know where it is if you are familiar with BM

I have not able to find a very ‘keng’ dim sum restaurant in Penang. Most of them are pretty standard as mentioned and the size is slightly bigger than Ipoh’s one.

Well, I’m a penangite but I have to admit that our Dim Sum is not as good as Ipoh’s.. :-)
