January 28, 2007Jalan Nagore (Nagore Street) is the home to many restaurants, Chinese, Malay, French, Nyonya, steamboat.. In the day, you can find good hawker food just across the street at Swatow Lane. At night, the street is beautifully lit, creating a celebration-like atmosphere.

I was born in Nagore road, I think is no. 42, there used to be a mid wife there over 51 years ago!!!
Penang is changing so fast and slowly loosing its old charm. That’s progress.
