Malaysia Food Blog, Malaysia Travel Blog

BM Kia says..
As I read through my blog posts for 2008, I found most of them are restaurant related reviews. I think this is deviating from my original purpose of food blogging, which is to discover and promote local foods, especially hawker fares. If not, it wouldn't be fit to be called "Malaysia Food Blog" So, my main aim of blogging for year 2009 would be to continue to do what I actually enjoyed the most - to travel, discover and promote cheap and tasty food.

Jalan Nagore

Posted by: vkeong In: Food and Drink| Travel () (7 views)

Jalan Nagore (Nagore Street) is the home to many restaurants, Chinese, Malay, French, Nyonya, steamboat.. In the day, you can find good hawker food just across the street at Swatow Lane. At night, the street is beautifully lit, creating a celebration-like atmosphere.

Love your blog. Man, I miss Penang food so much and the prices ridiculously cheap compared to London. One bowl of Curry Mee cost £5.50 and taste OK not as good as home.

I was born in Nagore road, I think is no. 42, there used to be a mid wife there over 51 years ago!!!

Penang is changing so fast and slowly loosing its old charm. That’s progress.

Regards

Yat
