Sunway Carnival Mall is the latest shopping mall by Sunway Group to open in Seberang Jaya, Penang. It is the 2nd largest mall in Butterworth after Megamall Pinang. The opening of this classy shopping mall will benefit Kulim and Seberang Perai people very much. We don’t have to travel across the bridge for well maintained cinemas anymore 
For folks like us staying in the mainland, there’s only 2 cinemas we can go to, either Summit BM Plaza’s GSC or Pacific Megamall’s Mega Cineplex. Both are badly maintained, have bad sound system and even smells… We will get to enjoy the 8 hall GSC cineplex very soon haha!
It only takes 20 minutes to reach Sunway Carnival Mall from Bukit Mertajam or Bayan Lepas. The roads leading to this mall are mostly highways and pretty much without traffic jams. Car parks are aplenty and well maintained, unlike Queensbay’s (feels like a desert over there) We headed there immediately after visiting the just-ended Matta Fair. By the way I won a 2D1N stay in Kuching’s Damai Beach resort!
Main anchor tenants are Parkson Grand and Giant. With other smaller tenants like Metrojaya, Factory Outlet, City Chain, ESpirit, Nike, Adidas, PUMA, Giordano.. etc
A view within the shopping mall, the closed section on the top floor would be new GSC in town
Life just got more interesting for Penangites lol.
