B Lui Seafood Kam Heong Lala

January 6, 2007

Kam Heong Lala

If you ever go to Kepong, you must never miss trying the Kam Heong lala there. A particular hawker stall in Kepong Baru by the name B Lui Seafood cooks very excellent Kam Heong lala. Apparently it is a very famous stall that has appeared in newspaper for its delicious crabs with the headline “Crabs so good worth taking home”.

Kam Heong Lala

I still remember when I first heard the term “Kam Heong” I was sceptical. I didn’t believe that lala could taste so good, how wrong was I lol. Anyway the smallest serving (shown here) costs RM15. The price has increased 20% since my last visit a year ago. The dish is served on a banana leaf placed over a sizzling hotplate. Tastes so good that the more I ate, the more I wanted.

Kam Heong Lala

B Lui Seafood opens from 6pm to midnight. Can’t wait to return for more!

    Hi,
May i know how to get to B Lui if I use the LDP? I like to bring my friends who love la-la to this place. Thanks! ^O^

vk: Hi, if you use LDP.. exit at the Bandar Utama - Kepong toll.. keep left and you will come to a U-Turn. Take the U-turn, keep left and enter Bandar Manjalara. Then go up the hill… you will come to a roundabout.. take the 12 o’clock exit and go straight again. You will go pass a few apartments on your left. Go all the way straight until you reach a huge crossroad with traffic lights. Go straight and up the hill, you will then reach another crossroad. Here you can see the Catholic Caritas Church on your left. At the traffic light go straight until you see another traffic light. Kei tak sek will be at your left. Turn to the left and left again. The hawker centre is on your right. If you have any problem looking for the place, just ask the people around there. There are a few lala shops there, make sure you find the right one. Good luck. :)
