Sunway Carnival Mall @ Seberang Jaya
Sunway Carnival Mall is the latest shopping mall by Sunway Group to open in Seberang Jaya, Penang. It is the 2nd largest mall in Butterworth after Megamall Pinang. The opening of this classy shopping mall will benefit Kulim and Seberang Perai people very much. We don’t have to travel across the bridge for well maintained cinemas anymore 
For folks like us staying in the mainland, there’s only 2 cinemas we can go to, either Summit BM Plaza’s GSC or Pacific Megamall’s Mega Cineplex. Both are badly maintained, have bad sound system and even smells… We will get to enjoy the 8 hall GSC cineplex very soon haha!
It only takes 20 minutes to reach Sunway Carnival Mall from Bukit Mertajam or Bayan Lepas. The roads leading to this mall are mostly highways and pretty much without traffic jams. Car parks are aplenty and well maintained, unlike Queensbay’s (feels like a desert over there) We headed there immediately after visiting the just-ended Matta Fair. By the way I won a 2D1N stay in Kuching’s Damai Beach resort!
Main anchor tenants are Parkson Grand and Giant. With other smaller tenants like Metrojaya, Factory Outlet, City Chain, ESpirit, Nike, Adidas, PUMA, Giordano.. etc
A view within the shopping mall, the closed section on the top floor would be new GSC in town
Life just got more interesting for Penangites lol.

Wow – that was fast in posting Sunway Carnival.
This mall is not as talk about like Queensbay Mall. Not sure is it because of its location.

Keep in mind to keep to your left after the turn to go Bukit Mertajam. When you are about to reach the small roundabout, you will see the road sign to the mall. When you see the McDonalds then you are surely there already

Hi there, I am a citizen to the butterworth, and i have go Sunway Carnival Mall for many times, i think that Sunway Carnival Mall is a place that not so cheap and good for everyone, i like to go the Sunway Carnival Mall’s GSC to watch the movies, because the air-conditioner is very cold,hehe..!! So wish those people haven’t go to Sunway Carnival Mall before, please go and take a look!! ^^

hi there, there is new karaoke, called AMP Square Karaoke in the mall! good sound system….better than Red Box in Gurney! Some good news for mainland singing folks……..

Hooray!!! de current, X’Mas deco in Sunway Carnival is “Chun”…nicely done up with train….cool X’Mas feeling….i heard there is a 2009 countdown party happening with fireworks…!!! Last saturday, the mall is full with people, real pack…some HK singer, called Chung Kah Yan is there…she quite pretty pun lo….hehehe!
