Eel Fish Ball Noodle @ Heng Seng Coffeeshop
Feb 6th
[tag]Heng Seng Coffeeshop[/tag] located along Jalan Kapitan Keling (formerly known as [tag]Pitt Street[/tag]) sells very nice fish ball soup. You must be thinking what’s so special about [tag]fish ball[/tag] soup? The answer is the ingredient used to make the fish balls – eel. Also, Heng Seng produces the fish balls themselves. Anyway if you are sushi lover you will know eel is also known as [tag]unagi[/tag] in Japanese.
Toasted Bread Half Boiled Eggs @ Joo Leong Cafe
Feb 3rd
Along the road to the airport from [tag]Bayan Lepas[/tag], there’s a [tag]coffee shop[/tag] which is always crowded in the mornings. People throng the place as early as 7am for [tag]Joo Leong[/tag] Cafe’s toasted bread and half boiled eggs. The coffee shop is a bit hard to notice because there’s no signboard or any indications it is selling such breakfast. The many number of vehicles parked outside the coffee shop which stretch as far as 50 meter away show the popularity of this establishment.
Penang Curry Mee @ Lorong Seratus Tahun
Feb 3rd
This morning I finally get to try the famous curry mee at Lorong Seratus Tahun. As weird as it may sound, there is really such a street in Penang next to to McAllister Road. I have been wondering the exact location of this stall and didn’t realise I have drove pass that area so many times!
By the way, I will be leaving my job for Cyberjaya (again!) soon so I am trying my best to try all the good food in [tag]Penang[/tag] while I still have the time. And my blog would most probably concentrate on KL and Selangor food instead already..
