Mua Chee @ Northam Beach Cafe

Northam Beach Cafe is a nicer type of hawker center in [tag]Penang[/tag] along Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah. It is located right next to a beach hence the name. Northam Beach Cafe utilizes the open air concept so you could enjoy the wind coming from the sea. And because of the nice location, decoration and ample free parking space it is popular with the locals and tourists alike. The food, however is pretty much the same with the other hawker centers. But the mua chee here is quite special so it deserves a mention.

Bumbu Bali @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

Yeah I am in Seri Kembangan already! And today was my first day at my new company. It didn’t go as well as I expected and the worst is, so many websites are blocked! They include all the web mails, some blogs and even image hosting sites! So, although I can access my blog, I couldn’t access my images :( Anyway I went to Bumbu Bali in [tag]Bandar Puteri Puchong[/tag] for lunch the day after I drove down from Penang. I have been yearning to return to this fantastic fusion concept restaurant ever since I left 2 years ago. I already knew Bumbu Bali’s awesomeness waaay before people started blogging about it!

Nasi Campur Bumbu Bali is a definitely must try. Look at the photo, do I need to say more?

Bukit Mertajam Famous Malay Char Koay Teow

Another famous food in Bukit Mertajam 大山脚 is the Malay Char Koay Teow, or also known as [tag]Koay Teow Goreng Basah[/tag]. This is the first Malay food in my food blog so you can be rest assured of its tastiness. Bukit Mertajam is the place where this variant of [tag]char koay teow[/tag] originated. It is so well received that many have taken the opportunity to setup their own char koay teow stalls in Penang.

Dragon-I Restaurant @ Queensbay

I’ve been longing to try Dragon-I but have been put off by the expensive price of the food. It was not until I received my second Advertlets payout then only I decided to dine in [tag]Queensbay[/tag]‘s [tag]Dragon-I[/tag]. Seriously, Dragon-I has a very good marketing strategy. They put up a glass before the entrance at all restaurants where you can see the chefs prepare noodles and meat dumplings. It always draws passer-bys and I am always one of them. So, kinda happy that I get to fulfill my curiosity finally. And the meal can be considered free because of the extra money, lol.
