I’ve lost track of how many items on the menu I HAVE to try just from your post alone! Oyster sashimi, cod fish roe sushi, mantis prawn temaki… I have died and gone to heaven!! Good move on the pricing, definitely more accessible now than before.

vk: I’d say the Wagyu and Foie Gras Maki are some of the specialty in Senyju Sushi :)

I am a newbie to the Kyoro Iri Umeshu Jelly too. Been to many Jap restaurants but have not seen this item. How do you find it?

vk: I found it pretty tasteless. But maybe that’s the way the dessert was designed because it had a grape inside, which was already sweet

Aisay, I should have read this one day earlier. Just came back from KL. :P I saw similar posters hanging around at Cineleisure and I thought there must be some fine print conditions involved. Looks like it’s really a true rebate!

Great one! I always passed by this restaurant last time but never give it a try and agreed with u, when I look at coconut sorbet again, it does have an extraordinary shape.. lolz

vk: I am guessing the coconuts were grown in a special casing.. to ensure they all have the same shape lo

I’ve always been curious to give this place ago, but always thought its abit on the high side. I keep thinkin its like a super upscale sushi king. But, from what you have written, I wouldn’t mind paying them a visit. I want to try the prawn sashimi, haven’t tried it before. I noticed that more Japanese restaurants have the sorbet thingy. There’s another Jap place in centrepoint Uyen who sells that as well. Have yet to try it though..hehe

vk: Yeap if you planning a visit better go within this week to enjoy the promotion :)

I heart Japanese food! I heart everything on their menu.
Umeshu! Plum wine is really a must- try. Get it from Langkawi! much cheaper. inside got plums some more!! Nice,my house will have it during festive season… plum wine rather than red/ white wine….

Prices are really reasonable for the things you had. And everything looks delish! No wonder people kept asking me to try Senjyu Sushi… =)

    Nice photos!

The food looks nice. I like Temaki and they seem expensive here. Is the mantis prawn same as the one in Chinese’s choo char restaurant? Haha~

Btw, please help me finish a food questionnaire:

this restaurant looks nice but I am not sure why not many people patronized this outlet. I think must be the location, the offer sounds good!
