Senjyu Sushi Cineleisure @ Mutiara Damansara

A quick recap of the food we had at Senjyu Sushi @ Cineleisure Damansara not too long ago. I have blogged about them twice previously, and both times I quite enjoyed the food. At first I found their menu to be expensive if compared to the other Kaiten Sushi restaurant, but the prices were subsequently reduced in my second visit. Not going to elaborate much, as they have been mentioned a few times before.
Salmon Sashimi – RM8.
Thick sliced, fresh and served exquisitely.
Followed by silver plate Kaiten Sushi @ RM6 each. Unagi Tamago.
Rose shaped salmon sashimi on black sesame Makimono.
Salmon Roe sushi wrapped with salmon slices.
Makimono with avocado, cucumber and crab stick.
Then the black plates @ RM4 each. Baby Octopus and Cheese Gunkan.
Unagi Nigiri, they should’ve been more generous on the Unagi’s portion though. It’s really thin.
I forgot what this was, but it was RM8 a plate (Gold). It was tasty but again, the portion was small (don’t be fooled by the photo lol)
I have always wanted to try Ika Teriyaki because it looked awesome. RM14.90 each.
And perhaps one of the more premium Chawanmushi? Lobster Chawanmushi @ RM8.90.
And ended with a complimentary dessert of Vanilla Ice Vream on Black Coffee Jelly from Senjyu Sushi (maybe because we had food more than RM100) Sadly we didn’t like it because the the black coffee was just too bitter. A nice meal nonetheless, food was good but they could improve with some of the items’ portion.

Senjyu is actually under the same company with Sakae Sushi, to cater to those who are more seasoned in Japanese food wanting to take it to the next level. Yeah you should give it a try
