Yeah I am in Seri Kembangan already! And today was my first day at my new company. It didn’t go as well as I expected and the worst is, so many websites are blocked! They include all the web mails, some blogs and even image hosting sites! So, although I can access my blog, I couldn’t access my images Anyway I went to Bumbu Bali in Bandar Puteri Puchong for lunch the day after I drove down from Penang. I have been yearning to return to this fantastic fusion concept restaurant ever since I left 2 years ago. I already knew Bumbu Bali’s awesomeness waaay before people started blogging about it!

Nasi Campur Bumbu Bali is a definitely must try. Look at the photo, do I need to say more?

On the way to Kek Lok Si to photograph the beautiful lanterns displayed in the temple during Chinese New Year, Siang Leng and I stopped at Asia Cafe for dinner. I blogged about this rather classy hawker centre before and it has been a year since my last visit. I noticed the oyster noodle stall is not there anymore. A pity because the oyster noodle quite good. We were undecided on what to eat as the foods there don’t seem appealing.. At last we chose to order from Hainan Lou Western Food.

If you happen to be in Tanjung Tokong area and want to have some cheap Western food, Faces Steak Garden is not a bad choice. There are quite a selection of food and the prices range from RM7.90 to RM17.90 at most. The restaurant’s lighting is minimal so the photos may appear blurry and do not look as good as it should be.

If you are having the meal with your partner I would recommend ordering the fruit juice at large size @RM5.50. It is definitely more than enough for two and more worthy compared to the normal size @RM3.50. The large cup is at least triple the size of a normal cup. We also felt we made the right choice hehe.

For this Christmas, why not head to Chili’s for a nice meal? You know, actually we have heard many not so good things about Penang’s Chilis at G Hotel but we decided to give it a try anyway. Mostly when you have decided to eat at a place but your friends or other food blogs are giving negative responses.. you will have second thoughts. So firstly, let me say that my meal at Chilis was great and everything went very well. The food was nice, service was good and we were stuffed after that. Don’t simply trust other people’s reviews including mine, because everyone has different taste buds. One man’s meat is another man’s poison.
