Kit Kat Lemon Cheesecake Flavor
Sep 19th
Bukit Mertajam’s Sunshine supermarket had an offer for [tag]Kit Kat[/tag] Lemon Cheesecake Flavor. A normal box would have cost RM4.50 but it was being sold @ RM3.00 for a pack of 2. We all know the advertisements for this new flavor, featuring a centaur (half man half horse creature) asking us to believe it. It is a limited edition of Kit Kat only available in Japan and Malaysia.
Kit Kat Lemon Cheesecake Flavor has a strong milky taste and not as crunchy as the Kit Kat Original. I was wondering if they were spoilt on my first bite.. My verdict: Stay away, yuck. Kit Kat Original is still the best ![]()
“Master Kang” MyCup Instant Noodles
Sep 18th
I always have the urge for cup noodles when craving for [tag]snack[/tag] meals, especially in midnights. Recently it is kinda risky to buy supper outside.. That is why I keep an array of instant noodles at home. [tag]Master Kang[/tag] MyCup [tag]instant noodles[/tag] retails @ RM2.10 and comes in a variety of flavors. Shown here is the Boiled Mushroom Chicken flavored MyCup. Included in the cup are 2 sachets of seasoning. One of them contained chicken bits and seasoning, while the other had mushroom cream.
The chicken bits and mushroom pieces are clearly visible after being rehydrated. It tasted as good as it looked
Candies from China and Japan
Sep 15th
Received some [tag]candies[/tag] from our department’s Japan and China users. I’d say we well deserved it, as we have been working our asses off to support them lol. The China users sent us Oo Long Tea and Green Tea sweets, fruity flavored rock sugar and red date filled biscuits, while Japan users sent wine-fragranted biscuits and almond chocolates. Japanese ones are far nicer ![]()
Oreo WaferSticks
Sep 13th
WARNING: THIS PRODUCT MAY BE CONTAMINATED WITH MELAMINE
Saw this in Giant last week, the wrapper says it’s NEW! Struggled a bit at first but decided to give it a try anyway, figuring that any [tag]OREO[/tag] products would be good.
OREO [tag]WaferSticks[/tag] come in pack of 5 x 18g wafer sticks. The size is quite disappointing, measuring only a little bigger than my finger. Yeah I was fooled by the wrapper’s image of the wafer stick
By the way, do you know how did the name OREO come around? According to Nabisco’s website…
- OREO was named by taking the “RE” out of cream and sandwiching it between the two “O”s from chocolate – just like the cookie.
- The name comes from the word “OR” (meaning gold in French) – a colour used on early packaging designs.
- OREO comes from the Greek word “OREO” which means mountain or hill. When the cookies were first manufacture, it was shaped like a baseball mound – hence the name OREO.
- Some say the name came about because it just seemed like a nice, melodic combination of sounds with just a few catchy letters and it was easy to pronounce.
Now that’s interesting.. but only no.1 makes sense to me lol.
A close up on the OREO WaferStick. Verdict: Worth a try out of curiosity, but you are better off sticking to REAL chocolate wafersticks or original OREO cookies. Why? Because after a week, there are still 4 sticks left
