Palace of Emperor Dim Sum restaurant has been around in Bukit Mertajam 大山脚 for quite some time already. It is located in Taman Ciku along the road to BM town. It actually resides within the Ng Yam Huat food court next to the abandoned Utama shopping complex.
Usually I won’t simply patronize any dim sum restaurants, especially those which are not too popular. But Palace of Emperor’s dim sum is surprisingly good.
Also tried the wantan mee here but it was very terrible. It was so bad that I couldn’t believe anyone could posses the skills to prepare such lousy wantan mee lol.
There’s another thing about Ng Yam Huat food court. When TVB actors/singers from Hong Kong visit BM, they will normally hold a meeting session in this food court. For what reasons I am not sure lol, I find nothing special about it anyway.

Woah thanks for the recommendation as well as the nice photos! I will ask my grandma to bring me there when I get back! Haha! Or I’ll just make you my food tourguide in Bukit Mertajam.
Anyway, most of the time I will dine out in Pek Gong Cheng in Bukit Mertajam, because the food there is really authentic and awesome :)
