Top Kitchen, the stall that churns out great Penang Char Koay Teow in Kepong had relocated to a coffee shop just further down the road.
Since there are still quite a number of people who don’t know about the relocation and thought they closed down, here’s the update post.
As usual, they operate after lunch hours and can be found in Restoran Tujuh Tujuh Tiga (773) in Taman Bukit Maluri. We noticed a slight increase in price so it’s RM6 a plate now but it comes with three pieces of big, fresh and succulent prawns.
Extra prawns are chargeable at RM2.50 which is not a bad deal considering you get more than double of the normal amount. Taste wise, I am glad to report that nothing has changed and it’s still as delicious as I remembered.
Besides char koay teow, Top Kitchen also serves ‘sar hor fun’, fried rice, Cantonese yee mee and loh bak. Homemade butter cake is available too.
During our visit the stall owners also informed us that their son is operating a Penang Prawn Mee stall in Bandar Menjalara. We will definitely check it out soon and let you know how it goes.
