**Dec 2016 Update: HOMI is no longer operating at WDS, it had relocated to Sun Hin Loong coffee shop in SS2**
While I was still working in PJ, me and my office mates would take away HOMI’s chicken curry puffs if we had lunch in SS2. Then, we could enjoy it over a cup of coffee in the pantry for tea break – it’s almost like a routine.
There’s nothing not to like about HOMI’s extra large chicken curry puff. The crispy and flaky pastry encases chunks of intensely flavored chicken curry pieces and potatoes. It might be a little oily but that’s understandable since you can’t really cook a proper curry without oil.
It has been a few years since I last had their curry puff, so I think the price has definitely increased to today’s RM2.50/pc. I also recall it used to have a piece of hard boiled egg making it a filling snack. But seems to me that it has been omitted.
FYI, HOMI has also recently shifted their stall from Hock Seng Two to Restoran WDS recently. Their kiosk in Mid Valley is still operating as usual.
