Tim Pun Gor Gor Desserts & Tong Sui @ Metro Perdana, Kepong
| Share |
Tim Pun Gor Gor is a dessert and tong sui shop at Metro Perdana, Kepong. Here, you are sure to be spoilt for choices because there are over 100 types of Hong Kong styled desserts and hot and cold tong sui to choose from at reasonable prices.
Fa Sang Wu (花生糊) @ RM3 – a little diluted to me but still quite creamy, not too sweet too.
Durian Pancake Roll, a nice treat for durian lovers. It was served cool from the fridge and a plastic knife was given to cut it. The smooth durian fillings was contrasted with strands of durian fibers, I liked it.
Fresh Mixed Fruits Noodles (鮮什果撈河) @ RM8 was well presented like a blooming flower with slices of banana, kiwi, watermelon and peach.
The noodles are not real noodles you see. They are more like koay teow shaped, frozen sweet soya bean milk with a jelly like texture that creates a slurping sound when you eat. It easily became our favorite because of it uniqueness, I don’t think this kind of dessert is commonly found.
Not all the desserts were good though. Mango Pudding (芒果布丁) @ RM5.50 was a slight disappointment due to its extremely gluey texture. Plus the mango taste was minimal, in fact almost non-existent if not for the cubes of mangoes in the pudding.
Overall quite a nice place to hang out for dessert and tong sui after a meal. The plenty choices alone is a big plus point. Lack of parking on the other hand, is a HUGE minus point.

first time see durian pancake green in colour! But it looks like they skimmed the amount of fresh durian tho? The one in Shanghai 10 / The Gardens has a lot of durian and it makes the real whole durian. Great stuff!

vkeong, r u the owner, or the frens of the owner, or to go there to get a free dessert? It sucks!!! Dessert suppost to make me feel happy, but after the dessert, both my gf and myself felt cheated, we had a bad day. the worst is iced red bean basically is just a condense milk with 15% of red beans….i ask the waiter y like that , he also dare not reply me….
