Crafted at Westin is a new signature cocktail menu offered by Westin Hotels & Resorts that invites guests to choose well behind the bar.
The Westin Kuala Lumpur has introduced 8 alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails using the freshest tropical fruits like Mangosteen, Sapodilla (ciku) and Tapioca. If you’re wondering, no, durian was not selected.
Each Crafted at Westin cocktail is inspired by local tradition and seasonal flavors. All ingredients are handpicked and expertly fused to create a unique combination of tastes guaranteed to refresh and delight.
The Crafted at Westin menu is available in two venues of the hotel: Splash sports bar on Level 4 and the bar lounge of Qba Bar & Grill on level UG. Some of the crafted selection include:
- Golden Eye – recommended for those who prefer non-alcoholic cocktails. This vitamin-packed mocktail is inspired by Sapodilla’s natural energy boosting elements and rich nutrients. The sweet and delicious taste of Sapodilla blends well with pineapple juice and lemon juice for a balanced sweet and sour treat.
- Tapi Rum – a dark rum based cocktail mixed with house made coconut cream, fresh milk, fermented tapioca flakes and muddled strawberries. As one of the purest forms of starch, tapioca is also flavorless and pairs harmoniously with coconut cream for a fragrant, sweet and creamy texture.
- Cinnarum – mix of Sweet ‘n Sour, triple sec and dark rum is spiced up with cinnamon liquid. The sweet-spicy flavor of Cinnamon has always been the perfect partner for Rum base cocktails by enhancing the taste of the drink.
The video sure did the trick and I wish I am holding a cocktail now. So if you are looking to tantalise your taste buds and excite your senses, go ahead and check out their bar area. Don’t forget to share your experience with your friends and family!
