I hardly step into kopitiam chains anymore. They have become more of a meeting place for business or friends. But I was so impressed by the cendol at Nyonya Cendol Cafe that I had to drop by their sister restaurant in Equine Park. It's called Seremban Station Hainan Coffee and the premise used to be occupied by Hailam Kopitiam.

Now that Nam Chau coffee shop has opened up a branch in Sunway Nexis, you no longer need to travel all the way to Ipoh for their dry curry mee and toasts. To ensure the authenticity of taste, Nam Chau White Coffee is retaining the recipes for their noodles. In short, pork is served.
Among my close friends, I am known to be extremely picky when it comes to Penang style Char Koay Teow. So when I say that I have found one that is the definitive version of this iconic dish that every Penangites in KL crave for, you just have to take my word for it. Sisters Place, a kopitiam-like restaurant at Pacific Place in Ara Damansara is your next destination if you are serious about satisfying your craving for Penang Char Koay Teow. As a bonus, the Curry Mee is great too!
