I hardly step into kopitiam chains anymore. They have become more of a meeting place for business or friends. But I was so impressed by the cendol at Nyonya Cendol Cafe that I had to drop by their sister restaurant in Equine Park. It's called Seremban Station Hainan Coffee and the premise used to be occupied by Hailam Kopitiam.
If you love Nyonya Cendol, you should make your way to Summit Subang USJ as quickly as you can. There's a quaint cafe at the lower ground floor going by the name of Nyonya Cendol Cafe which serves possibly the best cendol in Klang Valley.
Poppo Kanteen is a cheerful restaurant that serves local delicacies with a few Asian-Fusion dishes thrown into the mix. The backstory was that Poppo used to be a canteen operator at a school in Batu Pahat, so her mission is to provide new food choices for the students and teachers. Because of that, there is a back-to-school vibe featuring traditional metal dishes and a menu that takes the shape of a 'buku latihan'.
