QQ BBQ Steamboat is a popular hot pot and grill restaurant in Kepong. Our first visit here was a couple years ago and the experience was below par. But a recent revisit showed that the variety and quality of the food have improved, so much so that I'd rank it as one of the better buffet restaurants out there currently.
Grid & Go is the latest waffle in town located at 1 Utama opposite the GSC cinema. Grid & Go's palm-sized waffles are designed to be eaten on the go, hence the name. Instead of loading the waffles with toppings and syrups, Grid & Go's version has the flavours imparted in the dough. So the primary focus is on the taste and not presentation.
Akashi BBQ is the branch of Taishu Yakiniku with a different name - that alone says a lot about this Japanese BBQ joint. For some of you, this would mean that you don't need to travel all the way to Taman Desa anymore. But for us, it doesn't really make much difference since we stay in Kepong.
Alpacasso, or Arpakasso are alpaca plushies that were originally prizes found in UFO catchers in Japan. The cuteness of Alpacasso captured the hearts of Japanese and it has become so popular that you can buy them directly online. Now you can find this adorable character at the Alpacasso Cafe in Mid Valley.
