If you are looking for a special cake to celebrate birthday, upcoming Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, you should consider Moonlight Cake House‘s Fresh Cream Durian cake.
This unique 3D cake is shaped like a real durian and it’s 100% handmade with a Musang King flavored sponge cake as the basic ingredient. The cake making process is quite tedious and requires attention to detail and great hand-eye coordination, especially during the piping of the ‘durian thorns’.
It’s hard to imagine the cake’s taste by its appearance. First timers would probably be surprised by its light and creamy texture that melts in your mouth.
Most of the Musang King durian flavor is concentrated on the sponge cake while the fresh cream is sweet. Although the price tag might be off putting, a bite is all you need to feel it’s worth it.
Since the Fresh Cream Durian cake is prepared fresh daily without any artificial preservatives, you are advised to consume the cake as soon as possible. When refrigerated, it could last for 2 days at most.

If you are here for a meal, do try the Piccata Chicken Breast with Mozzarella and Cream Yellow Mustard @ RM22.60. Personally, I think it’s one of the nicest chicken breast dishes in town.
