Honey Crème, a premium soft-serve ice cream brand from Taiwan opened their first outlet in Desa Sri Hartamas next to Mei about 3 months ago.
This Korean-inspired soft serve became insanely popular after making it appeared on various Taiwanese variety shows. Cute and photogenic, no wonder it’s a hit especially among the ladies.
Honey Crème’s soft serve ice cream is available in both cups and cones, but regardless of which you choose it doesn’t make a difference in the price.
We had both our ice creams served in cups because we figured they would be much less messy to enjoy. Given the recent hot weather, that’s probably the better option too since your ice cream will now melt faster than ever.

The Honey Crème Honeycomb @ RM 14.50 is their all-time best seller so I guess it’d be a mistake not to try it. Speaking of the ice cream, it does have a premium feel to it in the sense that the texture and flavor are creamier, more dense and evidently milkier than those you get elsewhere; albeit only at a fraction of the cost. The honeycomb cube is a joy to chew on, but it does feel a bit small.

The Cotton Candy Affogato @ RM14.50 would be great for those who adore coffee. But if could choose again we will opt for the Affogato without cotton candy, as it’s more of a decoration than a topping. Besides, by the time you are done with the cotton candy the ice cream would have started to melt.
Overall, the Honey Crème’s soft serve ice cream is worth a try if you haven’t had anything similar before. The only deterrent is its relatively expensive price which is perfectly understandable.
After all, they are situated in an upmarket enclave with high rent to pay, and they are solely counting on selling ice creams to cover the costs and to make a profit as well.
