Being a chocolate lover, I have been eyeing to try Salon Du Chocolat for a while. A few buddies of mine who had been to this chocolate dessert cafe also highly recommend it.
When I found that Salon Du Chocolat is now also listed in Eatigo, I knew it was the time to finally drop in. FYI, you can enjoy up to 50% discount on all the food (drinks excluded) here if you made a reservation with Eatigo. It’s a huge saving particularly in these trying time.
The Salon Wrap @ RM31 (RM15.50 after discount) is a crepe wrapped with a choice of strawberry or banana, puffed rice cereal then topped with mix chocolate and organic rose petals. The crepe is freshly made upon order and the type of chocolate you can choose from include dark, milk and white chocolate.
The chocolate wrap was no doubt delectable, but the beautiful presentation was what really impressed us, as it looked exactly like the photo in the menu. When it comes to dessert, if it looks good, it also tends to taste better.
For those who like brownies, the Salon Brownies @ RM23.50 (RM11.75 after discount) is definitely worth trying. Moreover, the discounted price makes it value for money, as the portion is large enough to be shared among two or three people.
As you can see, they are not stingy with the strawberries and other fruits. A cup of melted chocolate is also provided as a dip for an even more chocolatey experience.
Waffle is one of the prominently featured items in the menu. Among the few options available, the Salon Waffle @ RM38.50 (RM19.25 after discount) is the most elaborate one.
When the waffle arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the generous assortment of fruits. In fact, more than what was shown in the menu. Like the crepe, the waffle is also freshly baked right before it’s served so the edges are crispy.
If you think about it, this is actually quite a healthy dessert. Almost every ingredient on the plate is natural and not to mention chocolate is good for you too.
Although you won’t get to enjoy discounts on the drinks, we did not mind paying the full price because they were so delicious. Shown above are the Ice Du Chocolate (made with real Belgium dark chocolate) @ RM15 and Moccacchino @ RM14. Both were rich in pure chocolate flavor and not overly sweetened, perfect for chocolate lovers.
If you are still on the fence about Salon Du Chocolat, don’t wait any longer. I am sure you will find their chocolate desserts as enjoyable as we did. Lastly, don’t forget to make a reservation with Eatigo first to enjoy up to 50% discount on the food. The website is easy to use and Eatigo’s app is available on Android and iOS too.
