Walked past Fantasyland on the way out.

And saw Tinkerbell being a sport and posing for photos with visitors at her Pixie Hollow. She is by far the most animated ‘real’ character with an attitude in Hong Kong Disneyland, cute and always smiling and pouts occasionally.

The sweet Belle was there to entertain the visitors as well. If you are wondering where to meet the Disney characters, check your map for the meet and greet locations provided in detail.

A fountain depicting Mickey and the magical mop-cleaning scene from the Sorcerer’s Apprentice can be found here too.

It was lunch time by the time we were done with Toy Story Land. If you are looking for halal cuisine (something very rare in Hong Kong, certified by the Incorporated Trustees of The Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong) then Tahitian Terrace at Adventureland would be the place to go.

asian-specialties

There are a few stalls here that feature mostly South Asian specialties that we are familiar with like Indian vegetarian, Lemongrass Chicken, Penang fish curry, Singapore Laksa and Black Lentil/Biryani rice, all priced in the range of HKD65-80.

We had the Biryani Rice set with Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Kebab, tastes pretty authentic and quite spicy too. Not bad at all.

The beautiful Tiki themed restaurant is surrounded by greenery and you will find interesting decorations of Polynesian wood carvings in human shape around. It is also the least crowded food court from what I saw. So if you want to escape the crowd for a moment and take a short break, this would be a nice spot for it.

But for a more magical dining experience with better food options, head to the Royal Banquet Hall at Fantasyland instead. The large food court has 700 seats, offers counter-service and serves a mixture of Asian (Japanese and Chinese) and American dishes.

There are different sections in the medieval-castle themed food court dedicated to different films like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast.

  1. Hello, Im a student from Limkokwing and I’m doing an assignment regarding website critique. I have look through each site and this one had caught my eyes. It is very attractive as the pictures posted are very nice! Also, I’m a big fan of Disney. Apart from that, the content that you have written are top-notch! Quality over quantity, very short but informative and interesting.

Although the layout is plain and simple the pictures that you have used were the one that captivated me. The restaurants looks expensive but seeing the excitement of the customers and the food makes me want to go there!
